Terms of Service
Effective August 2, 2026
1. Who we are
Grand Opening NYC is operated by Adames Labs LLC, 418 Broadway STE N, Albany, NY 12207. Reach us at support@grandopening.nyc. "We" and "us" mean Adames Labs LLC; "you" means the person or business using the service.
2. What the service is
We collect public records published by New York City and New York State — building permits, food-service and consumer-affairs licenses, liquor license applications, and inspection results — and organize them into a list of businesses that appear to be opening. We add scoring, grouping, and filtering on top of those records. We do not create the underlying records and we are not affiliated with any government agency.
3. The data is not guaranteed
Everything we show is derived from third-party government sources and is provided as is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Agencies revise, delay, and withdraw filings. A permit is not a promise that a business will open, that it will open on any particular date, or that it will open at all. Names, addresses, and phone numbers are reproduced as filed and are frequently stale or wrong. Verify anything before you rely on it. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
4. Not a consumer report
Grand Opening NYC is not a consumer reporting agency and the information we provide is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act or any comparable state law. You may not use it, in whole or in part, as a factor in establishing eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. This restriction is use-based: it applies no matter how you obtained the data from us.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use any phone number, name, or address obtained here for automated outreach — autodialers, prerecorded or artificial voice calls, ringless voicemail, or bulk SMS. Filed numbers may be dialed manually by a person. Automated outreach to them is prohibited by these terms and may violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act;
- send unsolicited commercial email that does not comply with CAN-SPAM;
- use the service for tenant screening, employment screening, or any other FCRA-covered purpose (see section 4);
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the data as a substitute for the service, or scrape, crawl, or bulk-download it outside the export and feed features we provide;
- share your account credentials, personal feed URL, or export files outside your organization;
- interfere with the service, circumvent access limits, or attempt to access data you have not paid for.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, without refund for the period in which the breach occurred.
6. Accounts and subscriptions
Some features require an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in link and personal feed URL private. Paid plans renew automatically for the interval you chose until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are exclusive of tax; New York sales tax is added where required. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim — and if you have paid us nothing, at one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may change the service or these terms. If we make a material change to these terms we will update the effective date above and, for account holders, email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York.
